Position Overview

(Briefly describe primary purpose of position. No more than 2-3 sentences.) Remove cartons from the special order handling belt and sort on wooden pallets by customer. Wrap full pallets with plastic wrap then utilizing a pallet jack move pallets to the designated staging area. Essential Functions Obtain pallet jack and wooden pallet Monitor the special order handling belt for cartons Remove cartons from the belt and place on wooden pallets by customer Cut tape and breakdown boxes as needed; Stack on pallet; wear approved cutting gloves Secure full pallets with plastic wrap Move secured pallet to designated staging area and obtain another empty pallet Perform general housekeeping duties in work area during and at the end of shift Perform any additional duties as specified by supervisor. Set-Up for Daily Operations • The employee will obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
