Position Overview

We are seeking qualified applicants for a nursing position at an acute care hospital located in [City, State] . This position comprises day shifts for a schedule of 3x12 hours from 07:00 to 19:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an acute care setting.
• Assist in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Float between like units as required.
• Participate in on-call shifts, with shifts rotated every six weeks among nursing staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic care.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Must be willing to cover one night shift within the contract period as needed.
• Local candidates welcome; must possess a valid state Compact license.

Patient Care Details

• Daily patient census of approximately 25 cases.
• Team rotation includes a mix of Registered Nurses and Surgical Technologists.
• Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Collaborative support from interdisciplinary services, including respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
