Fire Alarm Installation TechnicianTotal Fire and Security is hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Technician. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, TFS is a great place to grow your career.Responsibilities:Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with applicable NFPA codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies.Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the installation.Plan, coordinate, and complete installations as scheduled in a timely manner.On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.NICET II and/or state certification required (FAST).2+ years' experience inspecting and/or installing fire alarm systems required.2 years experience with CCTV, Intrusion, & Card Access systems preferredAbility to use a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.Building Reports experience preferred.Service Trade experience preferred.Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.Must have mechanical aptitude.Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hourSchedule: 8 hour shift - Monday to FridayBenefitsAt Total Fire Protection, we recognize that our employees are the backbone of our success, and we are committed to fostering a work environment that not only values their contributions but also supports their overall well-being.
