Opportunity:
Physician - Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery

Job Details:
Provide locum coverage for either July 19 from 8am-4pm OR July 17 at 4pm through July 19 until 4pm
Handle call coverage and patient rounding responsibilities
Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
Perform general cardiovascular and thoracic surgery procedures
Conduct coronary artery bypass surgery (on pump required)
Perform valvular repair and cardiac aneurysm repair procedures
Execute lung resection procedures including VATs
Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
Insert central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
Must be board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Require active Ohio medical license or IMLC eligibility
ACLS and BLS certifications required
On-site orientation required before starting call coverage
Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
