Assembler-Welder 1st shift

We are currently hiring for Assembly Operator/MIG Welder - 1st shift As an Assembly Operator/MIG Welder at Regal Rexnord Cleveland, you will be responsible for manually assembling products according to specifications. Starting pay range of $16.00-$18.00/hour. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications Assemble parts and components using hand and power tools Inspect welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and company guidelines Non-Essential Functions Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Prior MIG welding experience required Experience with mechanical part assembly is a plus Ability to read and understand technical drawings or blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: Entry Level Position. Specific Skills: Interpret and understand verbal and written directions. Ability to interact in a team environment to complete a variety of tasks. Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc: Read and interpret blueprints. Mechanically inclined with good math skills. Use basic measuring devices, including tape measure, micrometers and calipers. Operate power shop equipment. Previous experience in mechanical assembly is a plus. Physical Demand and Work Environment The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand 100% of the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the duties of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.
