Starting Salary: BX15, $71,772.00/year

Under general supervision, performs complex financial analysis of fiscal/cost data for City programs and services, and performs related duties as required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

* Maintain internal grant tracking tools to monitor budgets, milestones, deadlines, and documentation.

* Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual reports (e.g., SF-425, DBE reports, grant narratives).

* Support the review and reconciliation of invoices for reimbursement submission.

* Help compile documentation packages for drawdown submissions and audit readiness.

* Maintain organized digital and physical files for each active grant, ensuring retention compliance.

* Support the research and development of application materials, including gathering data and attachments for proposals when needed.

* Track grant terms and assist with closeout processes under the direction of the Grants Administration Supervisor.

Days: MONDAY-FRIDAY

Hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM

THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree or higher, in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field, PLUS one (1) year of work experience in the analysis of financial records

DESIRED SKILLS

Proficiency in Excel and Power BI

The candidate selected for hire must pass an airport background check and a Security Threat Assessment (STA) .

This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise and/or a skills assessment test as part of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.
