Responsible for the general oversight of all meal and nutrition related aspects of programming and patient’s nutritional care and services. Additionally responsible for providing nutrition assessment and counseling to patients. Coordinate care with clinical and medical treatmentteamto assist in treatment plans for patients. Required Qualifications: Demonstratedcompetencyin the use of Microsoft Office and theability to use various software programs Experience and literacy with Electronic Medical Records systems and medical practice software Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check (Federal and state) Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays as needed Perform other duties as assigned Graduate of an accredited Dietetics program Current RD license in good standing with WA State Certification Must possess current and active WA State Food Handler’s Permit, or obtain one within the firsttwo (2)weeks of hire Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with eating disorders, trauma, chemical dependency, mood disorders, and/or anxiety disordered patients Experience with Kipu, AVEA, and/or Waystar Addendum A:Essential JobFunctions and Responsibilities Reasonableaccommodationmay be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Provide direct nutritional care for patients in residential,PHPand IOPprograms, including, but not limitedtonutrition assessments, care planning, monitoring and evaluation, and enteral nutrition therapy (residential only); Coordinate weekly meetings with patients to develop meal plans and establish/assess nutrition goals using a HAES (Health at Every Size) approach. Equipmentincludes standard office equipment, i.e. computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, and scanner. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, repetitive use of hands , and lifting up to 25lbs.
