A valued client of ours ( great company culture ) is looking for an Electrical Project Manager/Estimato r for commercial and light industrial projects

Our client is seeking an electrical project manager/estimator capable of bidding projects and managing them.

Electrical Project Manager/Estimator Responsibilities:

* Determine the scope of work by reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings
* Perform accurate takeoffs and quantify estimates.
* Capable of reading engineering drawings, developing practical plans and providing solutions
* Obtain quotes as needed from subcontractors and vendors.
* Determine which vendors and subcontractors to use on the projects.
* Develop a project schedule for each project.
* Safety and quality conscious.
* Maintaining good working relationships with General Contractors and multi-tasking skills are critical.

Electrical Project Manager/Estimator Qualifications:

* 3-5+ years of experience with a proven track record of managing/bidding a wide variety of electrical construction projects -Minimum project values $1M
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
* Prior electrical field experience, Journeyman or Foreman is a plus
* Must have good experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,
* 1 year or more of experience using Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick estimating software or Excel
* Must be coachable and willing to learn the client's business process and methods
* Team player with a positive attitude and is self-motivated.
* Knowledge of construction practices and methods.
