Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and in-depth medical history analyses
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through interpreting imaging and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that includes administering medication, wound management, discharge planning, and patient educational support

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State license (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
