Minister of Music

First Baptist Church of Gautier is seeking a full-time Minister of Music to lead a Christ-centered worship ministry that embraces both traditional hymns and contemporary worship music. Responsibilities include leading congregational worship, directing and developing the church’s worship choir, overseeing music ministries from preschool through adults, and equipping volunteers, including instrumentalists and media/sound teams. The Minister of Music will also assist with weddings, funerals, and special services. This dual-responsibility position includes a secondary ministry assignment aligned with the candidate’s calling, gifting, and experience, such as senior adults, missions, discipleship, or students.
