Position: Production AssociateLocation: Nazareth, PASIGN-ON BONUSASGCO engineers, manufactures, and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. We focus on providing exceptional products and service to our customers with the best solutions to their conveyor and screening material handling applications.ASGCO has a Production Associate opening for a candidate that will be responsible for general tasks and operating a company vehicle. This applicant must be able to maintain high quality work, high level of attention to detail while ensuring personal productivity and safe operation. The right candidate must be able to take ownership, keep organized neat and clean. ASGCO offers a competitive wage, OT and an excellent benefits package that includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k) plan, vacation and paid holidays.Responsibilities:Operate saws, cranes, and machinesReviews and interprets written and verbal work instructionsMust be able to accurately read measuring devicesEffectively prioritize workloads and use of available resources within time constraintsAssists with keeping the shop in an orderly and clean state, following all company safety proceduresResponsible for quality control of all jobs and ordersOther responsibilities as seen fit by managementRequirements:Candidates must pass a background check and drug screenHigh School Diploma or GED2- 4 years of relative experience in a manufacturing facility and working with general machinesKnowledge of measurements and using a tape measureAbility to multitask in fast paced dynamic environmentAbility to up to 50 lbs.Attendance and reliability a MUSTStrong attention to detail and good interpersonal skillsCan lift up to 50lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterityWorking Conditions:Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guidelinesPossible exposure extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particlesWhile performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workdayPersonal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, which may include a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required.May be required to work overtime on as needed basis.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
