Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description As an Associate, you are responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations. You acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Responsibilities Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Set up and prepare the event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, view assigned documents such as Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands: The associate will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms (up to 65 inches), talk, hear, read instructions, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming in order; consistent with retailer dress code requirements. Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business need. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves discretion to change the role based on business needs.
