Assistant Manager

Hillside Winery is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead our tasting and retail operations in Sevierville.

In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure a high level of operational excellence, customer service, and team performance. You will play an important role in expense management, revenue growth, staff development, daily operations, and workplace culture.

We're looking for a servant-minded leader who leads by example, takes ownership, and knows how to bring out the best in others. As a key connection between the team and the General Manager, you will help create a positive, accountable, and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the team by setting clear expectations, coaching employees, and providing consistent feedback.
• Maintain an exceptional customer experience through high standards for service, cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and property presentation.
• Support business growth by identifying revenue opportunities, monitoring expenses, and responsibly using company resources.
• Partner with the General Manager to address operational needs, employee and customer concerns, and opportunities for improvement

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting Salary: $45,000 annually

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts of 8+ hours
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, and reach as needed
• Work both indoors and outdoors as operational needs require
• Have reliable transportation and drive for occasional work-related tasks

Compensation details: 45000-45000 Yearly Salary
