Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Mike's Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team in South Roxana, IL. As a family-owned business providing industrial and marine services, including tractor trailer and equipment repair, diesel engine repair, generator sales and service, and expert machining and fabrication, we offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Daily Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical systems
Conduct welding fabrication and torch cutting
Complete oil changes and equipment repairs
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems

Required Skills:

Experience with pneumatics and conveyor systems
Proficiency in wiring and electrical troubleshooting
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
Ability to perform welding fabrication and torch cutting
Skilled in equipment repair and hydraulic systems
Experience with Mitsubishi, Cummins, or John Deere
CDL class B prefered

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
