Make a meaningful impact by supporting children in an educational setting as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, on-site assignment near Providence, RI is ideal for professionals passionate about working with pediatric populations in a school environment. Both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply, and travel candidates are welcome!
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in progress with a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background or strong interest in pediatric therapy, preferably with school-based experience
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and school settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually or in groups, fostering measurable progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare necessary reports in compliance with regulatory and school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to optimize educational outcomes
- Stay current with evidence-based practices, continuing education, and professional development
