Our client is seeking a motivated and dependable ***CDL B Driver ***to join their dynamic transportation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across designated local routes (NJ, NY, and PA)

Monday through Fridays 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with potential O.T.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 26-foot truck / GVW of at least 26,000 pounds
Execute route driving with precision to ensure the timely delivery of freight
Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays/issues.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Requirements:

A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) CLASS B is required
Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving
Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and best practices
Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures
Previous experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
Experience working with a pallet jack and or Forklift strongly preferred
