Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience License: Valid RN license (state or multi-state/compact) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP Must-Have: Epic charting experience; Couplet Care and High-Risk OB skills Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. The position requires a 12-hour day shift. The nurse will be responsible for providing care in a labor and delivery setting. Ratios of care include 1:2, 1:1, and 1:3 for couplets. Weekend work is required every third weekend. The role includes on-call responsibilities for two 12-hour shifts within a six-week period. The nurse will not be required to float to other units. Candidates with two or more years of labor and delivery experience are preferred. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP. Epic experience is necessary for this role. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Please ensure that there are no planned time-off requests that may affect compliance with pre-start requirements.
