Aspire of WNY has a full time Communications Assistant position available.


In this highly collaborative role, you will be a vital support system for our communications team. Your work will help us execute creative communications strategies and keep our projects running smoothly.

Here is a breakdown of this role at Aspire of WNY!

• Content & Storytelling: Assist in drafting, proofreading, and editing newsletters, social media posts, press releases, and website copy.
• Project Coordination: Help keep our collaborative digital and physical workspaces organized, manage incoming requests, and track follow-ups.
• Administrative Operations: Support the division by coordinating with vendors, processing invoices, keeping the donor database accurate, and managing print orders.
• Creative Assistance: Work alongside team members at events to take photos, gather quotes, and help bring our community's stories to life.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field
• One (1) year of experience in communications, marketing, development or related role
