Product Analyst Payment Systems Financial Services
Our large financial services client is responsible for software development, quality assurance testing, and production operations supporting critical payment platforms. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across payment services to deliver product enhancements that improve resiliency, performance, and overall service delivery.
Position Summary
The Product Analyst serves as a strategic partner to Product Owners, business leaders, and technology teams. This role focuses on business analysis, product planning, and delivery support to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements and customer outcomes across internal and external systems. The position plays a key role in modernizing payment systems and supporting a scalable and efficient product operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define product requirements and support delivery of payment system enhancements
- Support product strategy, roadmap planning, and requirements analysis aligned with risk, audit, and governance standards
- Work within Agile teams to develop and refine user stories, manage backlogs, and support prioritization of features
- Translate user feedback into product improvements and support release planning and roadmap execution
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, product demos, and user feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement
- Perform business, industry, and technical analysis to support product decisions and prioritization
- Support production operations and incident response to ensure system resiliency and performance
- Lead and support user acceptance testing, onboarding, and training to drive product adoption
- Monitor product performance and key metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop a strong understanding of payment systems, customer needs, and internal applications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst in a fast paced environment
- Experience supporting payment systems, financial services, or transaction processing platforms preferred
- Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation skills Experience with roadmap planning, prototyping, and product delivery support Hands on experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
- Experience with Jira and Confluence required
- Knowledge or experience integrating AI into product workflows or bring exposure to tools such as Copilot or similar platforms is a HUGE plus as well.
- Exposure to data and messaging systems is a plus
