If you thrive on owning the Product development lifecycle from concept through post-production in a high-tech environment, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.Key Responsibilities:System Architecture: Participate in system level design architecture from embedded systems, control components, BESS and cloud platform effortsCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Hardware and software Engineers to establish requirements, review schematics, and define the electrical and cloud platform architecture.Software Integration: Collaborate with Software Engineers on architecture, hardware-software interfaces, and communication protocols.Safety & Compliance: Develop requirements with a strong focus on functional safety compliance (e.g., IEC 61508).Validation & Testing: Create comprehensive product characterization test plans, execute them using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.), and generate clear technical reports.Product Lifecycle Management: Own entire product life cycle from initial concept and requirements gathering through post-production support.Required Qualifications:Education & Experience:BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.5+ years of hands-on experience in power management systems, battery chargers or related fieldsTechnical Expertise:Proven track record in taking product from development stage to productionManage bench and field testing to ensure products meet application requirementsWork with business and marketing teams to educate them about our value proposition and market differentiationCommunication Protocols: Familiarity with industry protocols (Modbus, CANOpen, TCP/IP, 4G/LTE, 802.11x, Bluetooth).Optimize existing design and provide constructive criticism on new designs developed by our offsite engineering team.Quality Practices: Good understanding of FMEA and design for manufacturing (DFM).Why Join Minit Charger:Work on cutting-edge Green Energy / EV technology that is shaping the future of industrial mobility.Join a dedicated, hardworking team that values great talent and mutual growth.We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, a 401K, and ample room for career advancement.
