Staff RN - Medical Surgical

SCHEDULE
Nights, 12 hours, 7 PM - 7:15 AM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ Years of Med Surg Experience
- Med/Surg Observation Experience
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (Med Surg)
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms Completed within the last two years
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- Active Michigan Nursing License

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and document plans of care based on patient assessments.
- Implement plans of care and maintain accurate documentation.
- Evaluate patient responses to care and update plans as necessary.
- Oversee the delegation of patient care tasks to unit staff.
- Provide support for various patient populations, including oncology, observation, hospice, and medical surgical patients.
