Director of Compliance

Location: Franklin, TN (On-Site)

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 Base Salary + Bonus

Build the Compliance Infrastructure of a Growing Healthcare Organization

We are seeking an experienced Director of Compliance to lead and strengthen compliance, quality, accreditation, and regulatory programs across a rapidly growing multi-location pharmacy organization.

This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a builder—someone who can create scalable systems, identify risks before they become problems, and establish operational standards that support long-term growth.

Reporting directly to the COO, this highly visible position will serve as the organization's compliance leader, partnering with operational leadership to drive audit readiness, regulatory compliance, training, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement across multiple pharmacy locations.

What You'll Do

Compliance & Accreditation Leadership

  • Lead compliance efforts related to URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations
  • Maintain continuous audit readiness across multiple pharmacy locations
  • Conduct internal assessments and mock audits to proactively identify compliance gaps
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans and risk mitigation strategies

Build Systems & Infrastructure

  • Develop scalable compliance programs, SOPs, policies, and documentation standards
  • Establish tracking systems for licenses, certifications, training, and regulatory requirements
  • Standardize compliance workflows and operational processes across locations
  • Create accountability measures that support consistency and operational excellence

Training & Quality Programs

  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for pharmacy staff
  • Partner with leadership to improve compliance awareness and operational accountability
  • Monitor training completion, competency validation, and ongoing education requirements
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Risk Management & Operational Excellence

  • Identify compliance vulnerabilities and operational risks before they impact the business
  • Collaborate with leadership to strengthen safeguards and controls
  • Analyze trends and recommend improvements that enhance compliance and operational performance
  • Help drive a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous readiness

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in compliance, pharmacy operations, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to influence and drive accountability across multiple locations and departments
  • Strong technology skills, including experience with compliance tracking systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and learning management systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacist license
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, quality assurance, or regulatory oversight
  • Experience with URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board compliance standards
  • Experience supporting multi-site healthcare or pharmacy operations

Travel Requirements

  • Primarily on-site in Franklin, TN
  • Periodic travel to pharmacy locations to support audits, training, compliance initiatives, and accreditation readiness
  • Travel expected approximately quarterly and may involve multi-day trips as needed
