Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our float pool team across multiple locations. Nurses must be flexible in working at various facilities and provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in an intensive care setting.
- Float between multiple locations as needed, responding to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment.
- Communicate with healthcare team members regarding patient conditions and care plans.
- Participate in required training and staff meetings as needed.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in A-lines and phlebotomy.
- Experience with PICC lines, chest tubes, ventilators, telemetry, and IV starts.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
- Experience with pulmonary artery lines and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Cardiac conditions
- Neurological disorders
- General medical and surgical needs
- Stroke care
- Kidney and liver solid organ transplants
- Trauma management
- A 4-week schedule will be provided two weeks in advance.
- No blocked or self-scheduling is permitted.
- Nurses will receive notification by phone 2 hours prior to the shift regarding their assigned facility.
