2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Insurance Verifier to join our Otolaryngology practice and ensure that our patients receive the care they need by verifying their insurance coverage and benefits. As a Medical Insurance Verifier, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance information, collecting patient copays and deductibles, and submitting claims to insurance providers. Responsibilities Verify patient eligibility and coverage. Obtain pre-authorization for services as needed. Communicate with insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Ensure all patient information is accurate and up-to-date. Submit claims in a timely and accurate manner. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. One year of related experience. To be successful in this role, you should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working with medical insurance providers and electronic medical records. You should also have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that our patients receive the care they need.
