Learn how Premera supports our members, customers and the communities that we serve through our Healthsource blog: The Department Coordinator, Senior, is responsible for providing administrative and project support for an assigned department, team and/or program. This position will be responsible working with the various team members to understand business needs and assist with the development of communication solutions (external and internal facing), that will address those needs. Primary responsibilities of this job involve coordinating and/or managing projects to meet departmental objectives (60% of time). Secondary responsibilities include departmental administrative (40% of time) and Senior Vice President support. This is a Hybrid position with a minimum of eight days onsite per month. What you will do: Manage and/or participate as a team member on assigned projects. Track and distribute project management documentation including project plan, scope and deliverables, stakeholder analysis and other pertinent documents to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Assist team members with production of materials and/or related projects/program documents, including administrative management of on‑going or ad hoc reports, development of tables, charts, graphs, consolidated information, text, etc. Support team with research, competitive profile information, tracking of related industry trends and maintenance of system for cataloging or filing of research sources and outcomes. Assist in support and execution of team, department, project and/or program strategies or goals to achieve business objectives. Develops and/or maintains websites, blogs and/or other department specific databases, systems and/or SharePoint sites. Provide office assistance to team members that would include scheduling meetings, managing deadlines, ordering supplies, tracking data, managing meeting logistics, etc. Help manage vendor relationships. Manage and monitor development and execution of internal and external department, team and/or project calendars. Manage distribution of various teams, department and/or project/program communications, products/artifacts and/or information to a wide range of internal audiences. Generate reports and dashboards for the department, team and/or projects/programs. Manage department budget and track invoices. Manage department business unit goal tracking and related processes. Other duties as assigned. What you will bring: Bachelor's degree or four (4) years’ administrative support experience. (Required) Four (4) years’ project support experience including managing project details, logistics, data, metrics, budgets, and/or tracking services. (Required) Experience working in a similar type of department or comparable work environment. (Preferred) What you will gain: Hands‑on project coordination and management experience. Stronger communication and stakeholder support skills. Experience creating reports, dashboards, and business materials. Broader knowledge of budgeting, vendors, and department operations. Proficiency with SharePoint, databases, and administrative systems. The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience. The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range. National Plus Salary Range: $66,800.00 - $106,900.00 National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
