Delivery Driver

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts and equipment with more than 300 locations across the United States. Delivery Driver We are hiring full-time Delivery Drivers to pick up and deliver automotive parts while following assigned routes, schedules, and customer service standards. Responsibilities Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy, and confirm customer satisfaction. Follow directions from the dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes, use navigation apps, and adjust routes as needed. Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles, ensuring operations at customer locations are not disrupted. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling complaints professionally. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile debt and credit, and handle all moneys collected related to deliveries. Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and report any issues to the manager. Assist with warehouse duties such as stock management and parts pulling as assigned. Maintain and promote workplace safety. Secure and transfer cash or other assets. Minimum Requirements Current, valid driver’s license. Must be 21 years old or over to meet insurance requirements. Current valid automobile insurance with the driver’s name on the policy. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (up to 75 pounds for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances. Utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture. Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills with professionalism and diplomacy. Follow directions and work well with others as part of a team. Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed. Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
