As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery primarily on construction and mining sites. You will work closely with a small crew of 2-5 members to ensure efficient and safe use of both manual and automated equipment. Routine maintenance and repairs, along with safety compliance, will be key to supporting project success. Travel between sites is rare, usually occurring quarterly or less.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment efficiently on construction and mining sites
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on equipment
• Prepare job sites for equipment use
• Handle loads safely and accurately
• Collaborate effectively with a small crew
• Travel occasionally to different job sites as required

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy equipment operation
