As the Lab Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for laboratory services, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and team performance. You'll collaborate with physicians, hospital leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure the delivery of accurate, reliable, and timely laboratory results that support outstanding patient outcomes. Ideal Candidates Strong laboratory management experience Experience leading teams in an acute care hospital setting Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards A passion for quality, operational excellence, and team development A collaborative leadership style focused on achieving exceptional patient outcomes Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry. MBA or MHA preferred. Experience: Minimum of five years recent previous experience in the management of a clinical laboratory of an acute care hospital. Other Qualifications: Must have experience with regulatory and accreditation requirements of laboratory operations, including CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and CMS. An understanding of current trends in clinical laboratory services and operations and knowledge of quality, statistical concepts preferred. Why Choose Novant Health?
