Main Purpose of the Editorial Copywriter role This permanent full‑time role is for a passionate, creative writer who specializes in copy for FWRD and Men’s audiences. The editorial copywriter will develop engaging, on‑brand copy across email, site, and marketing assets, translating product, brand, and trend features into compelling content that drives conversion and customer engagement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Write high volume creative copy for campaigns, email newsletters, landing pages, and site‑wide communication across FWRD Women’s, Men’s, and Revolve Man. Develop copy that captures the brand voice and engages the audience. Contribute story ideas for editorial features. Ensure all content demonstrates consistent voice and branding using persuasive yet colorful language. Take direction from the Merchandising Director and other creative partners, working side‑by‑side in weekly meetings to develop feature copy while using data to inform copy strategy. Collaborate with design, marketing, and retention teams to ensure cohesive messaging. Provide copy direction, constructive criticism, and editing to junior team members. Monitor email performance based on data analytics, noting competitor information. Pitch strategies and ideas regularly, including A/B testing for copywriting. Assist with copy needs for events, social, and special projects as required. Required Competencies Time management skills and the ability to complete tasks under short deadlines while managing multiple projects. Self‑motivated with the discipline to complete tasks independently. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Thriving in an intense, fast‑paced environment while maintaining high quality. Superb attention to detail, style, and composition, balancing creativity and strategy. Knowledge of e‑commerce copywriting standards and best practices. Strong communication skills to share creative ideas within a team. Passion for creative copywriting and storytelling with a proven track record of resonant copy. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within fashion, luxury fashion, or beauty industries. Proven track record of writing compelling product and marketing copy. Familiarity with contemporary and luxury fashion brands for both men and women. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a superb eye for detail, style, and composition. Well‑versed in AP style and e‑commerce copy standards. Self‑driven and able to communicate creative ideas efficiently. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or a related field. Experience with designer fashion product descriptions and set‑management skills. Minimum 3 years of professional writing experience in fashion journalism, marketing, PR, or a related field.
