Full-Time Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor NT

Nuclear Medicine Division

Our organization is seeking applications for a faculty position in academic nuclear medicine. The Nuclear Medicine Division offers a comprehensive array of clinical and research activities, equipped with cutting-edge facilities and a team of highly skilled faculty dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, education, and research opportunities. This division provides extensive diagnostic and radiopharmaceutical therapy services to five primary hospitals in Pittsburgh, including the Hillman Cancer Center, along with additional imaging services across the UPMC network.

Essential Qualifications

  • Applicants must possess an MD degree or its equivalent.
  • Board eligibility or certification from the American Board of Radiology and/or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine is required.
  • Candidates must be eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania and have completed a Nuclear Medicine fellowship as necessary for ABR eligibility/certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role will involve a combination of clinical, teaching, and academic duties.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in academic and clinical nuclear medicine, especially those skilled in PET CT and theranostics.
  • The position will be located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

  • We also provide a substantial amount of radionuclide therapies, including Pluvicto and Lutathera, along with non-FDA approved therapies through clinical trial participation.
  • Dedicated didactic and clinical instruction is offered to trainees in our ACGME accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program and a specialized PET/CT fellowship.
