Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient cardiac status and identify changes in condition
• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, including medication administration, IV management, and patient education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to cardiac arrhythmias and other clinical changes, initiating appropriate interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience with cardiac monitoring systems and rhythm interpretation
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
