Engineering - Painter

Working alongside the Director of Engineering and Engineering Team, the painter who will be responsible for delivering detail-oriented and finishing work throughout the hotel, ensuring all surfaces meet aesthetic standards.

Key Accountabilities
• Perform painting, patching, drywall repair, and other finish work throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain the hotel's high standards.
• Inspect and address paint and surface conditions proactively, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the building, physical plant, and engineering facilities of the Property
• Respond and correct any deficiency with regards to hotel guest rooms or any area in the hotel in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a neat, organized and safe department at all times

General Requirements
• Hands-on experience with drywall repair and painting, including cutting, patching, sanding, texturing, and matching adjacent surfaces, colors, and finishes.
• Skilled in detailed finish and touch-up work, including baseboards, crown molding, trim, doors, and refinishing varnished furniture and wood surfaces.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
