This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the Finance department by accurately processing payments and supporting various financial tasks, providing excellent customer service to employees and management. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: In‑person, Overland Park, KS Team: Finance | Reports to Finance Director Mission: This person ensures payments are processed accurately and on time, while providing essential accounting and administrative support to the Finance department. Tech Stack: Excel What You’ll Actually Do Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, review, and prepare vendor invoices for timely processing within the accounting system. Payment Compliance: Ensure all vendor payments consistently comply with established company policies and procedures. Financial Reporting: Monitor and prepare expense management reports, performing necessary reconciliations with the accounting system. Advisor Support: Manage and reconcile 1099 Vendor information specifically for advisor payments. Departmental Assistance: Provide comprehensive support to Finance team members to achieve daily and monthly operational requirements and complete assigned ad hoc projects. The Must-Haves Background: Entry-Level. A BA/BS degree in Accounting or a related field of study, or equivalent commensurate experience. Experience: Proven experience utilizing Excel for financial tasks. Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong sense of teamwork.
