Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce digital images and cinefluorography during procedures to aid physician guidance. Position and prepare patients, provide explanations, and assist physicians with specialized interventional studies. Enter protocol-driven technical factors (radiation dose, filming sequence) into the imaging system; adjust equipment per physician instruction. Administer contrast media as directed, monitor patient response, and operate fluoroscopy and image capture equipment during catheter-based procedures. Monitor patient status during imaging, communicate changes to the physician, and provide post-procedure discharge instructions as appropriate. Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and adherence to department protocols throughout interventional procedures.
