Production Worker- Coater/Paint- 1st Shift

Overview Production Assembler job at our manufacturing plant in Sacramento, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. In this role, you’ll need mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools. You will assist in the work activities of the department team members and work directly with the department supervisor and department lead to ensure all manufacturing orders are properly completed and filled before the deadline. You must be able to perform tasks assigned in the construction of windows and patio doors in all phases of assembly. In addition to meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency are key elements to your performance. Compensation & Schedule Compensation: $22 an hour Schedule: Start time 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday (overtime required) Responsibilities Handle glass safely Support product build and assembly processes with accuracy and efficiency using standard work instructions Focus on the quality and timely delivery of completed tasks to achieve customer satisfaction Demonstrate Milgard’s Core Values in all business interactions Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment Qualifications One year of similar work experience in assembly, manufacturing, and/or warehouse Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure Experience with hand and power tools Compute basic math problems, including fractions, addition, and subtraction Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted Benefits We offer competitive pay, a 401(k) with company match, and generous paid time off to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
