Field Service Technician – Grand Rapids, MI Position Summary Are you a Field Technician? Field Engineer? Service Technician? Or do you want to start a career in this field? Pay and Benefits Hourly Pay Range: $18 to $20, depending on location and experience levels Overtime available at time and a half 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays Paid vacation – up to 80 hours in your first year 401K savings and retirement plan Company‑provided, business‑use‑only vehicle Medical insurance available immediately Responsibilities Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively Service electromechanical equipment, including self‑checkout systems, within an assigned territory Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls Communicate openly and effectively to identify and resolve issues — often before they arise — using training provided by NCRVoyix to deliver the right solution at the right time Use rapid learning, virtual and hands‑on training to provide real impact Perform field service tasks to keep global commerce running and represent the NCRVoyix brand Work rotating shifts within set teams, including morning, afternoon, evening start times and weekend shifts; required to travel several hours per day Carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance Perform tasks requiring bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive manipulation of objects of varying size Basic Qualifications Local candidate to specific geographic area Authorized to work in the United States At least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCR fleet requirements PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day Rotating and weekend shifts Flexible shift work – rotating shifts within set teams, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, with some holidays Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification One or more years of related experience EEO Statement Integrated into our shared values is NCRVoyix’s commitment to equal employment opportunity.
