Part Time or Full Time work available! The Toddler Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for toddlers in an independent classroom setting. Utilizing a standard early childhood education curriculum, this role supports the developmental needs of 6 toddlers through daily interaction, individualized attention, and consistent communication with parents. The teacher fosters early learning and social skills while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage toddlers throughout the day
• Provide daily updates and maintain open communication with parents
• Monitor safety and enforce safety procedures within the classroom
• Manage behavior to create a positive learning environment
• Assess developmental progress and adapt activities accordingly
• Organize the classroom to promote learning and cleanliness
• Daily cleaning
• Deep Cleaning
• Prepare and serve snacks
• Use Bright Wheels
• Do arts and crafts with the kids daily
• Go outside with the children
• Help put children to sleep

 

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of higher (we will pay for it)
• 24 professional development hours a year

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Patience and teamwork orientation
