Cable Cutter (1st Shift) - Hiring Immediately!
A premier facility in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cable Cutter to join the team immediately.
This is a fantastic Temp-to-Hire opportunity for a motivated worker looking for a stable schedule, a supportive environment, and a workplace the genuinely values strong attendance and hard work.
Shift & Compensation
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
- Pay Rate: $19.50 / hour
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Bloomingdale, IL
Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Cutting: Measure and cut cables to precise, specified lengths according to production orders.
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on materials to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Equipment & Handling: Safely handle materials, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all departamental safety rules and operating procedures, maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
- Teamwork & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation ("clean as you go") and collaborate with team members.
- Reporting: Identify and report any unusual material conditions or equipment situations to the Lead Person or Supervisor.

Position Requirements
- Ability to stand for the full 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Strong attention to detail, precision measurement skills, and a quality-first mindset.
- Proven track record of excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to start immediately upon hire.
