CNC Machine Programmer

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family‑owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. This position is located on‑site in Hamilton, WA. Position Description Plans machining sequences and fixturing for 3‑5 axis machine tools. Determines methods, cutter types, and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials (composites, epoxies, steel, aluminum, etc.) and design specifications. Designs 3‑D computer models, drawings, and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements. Creates 3‑5 axis tool paths utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software. Provides input in production tracking software. Works with process engineers on planning of manufacturing process to ensure that quality and design objectives are achieved. Creates shop documentation for setup of the machines complying with ISO9000 standards. Analyzes laser‑tracking data to assure quality of the setup, when applicable. Works with the machinists to make sure setup and machining procedures are followed. Performs tool path verification using Vericut software. General knowledge of standard G‑Code language, machine offsets, and part locating. Qualifications US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3)). Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory and require candidate agreement to enter a Continuous Evaluation program. Education / Experience Engineering or engineering technology degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of experience as an NC programmer, programming 5‑axis mills preferred. Experience using Unigraphics/Siemens NX software preferred. Manual machining experience a plus. Additional Information Wage range for this role is $27–$58 an hour plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off‑shifts, off‑site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role; actual amount offered will be based on job‑related and non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
