Salary Range: $140,000.00 To $160,000.00 Annually

In this role, you will lead complex aerospace and defense programs by integrating engineering, manufacturing, quality, cybersecurity, and customer requirements into cohesive program plans. You will guide cross-functional teams, drive technical and program execution, and ensure mission‑critical capabilities are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Your work will directly support successful decision‑making, program alignment, and contractual performance across the full program lifecycle.

Responsibilities • Leads cross-functional engineering teams in the design, development, analysis, and testing of mechanical and pyrotechnic components and systems.
• Serves as the primary interface with customers and internal leadership to communicate program status and technical direction.
• Supports business development activities, including proposal development and customer meetings.
• Ensures engineering documentation is clear, accurate, and complete, including drawings, reports, and presentations.
• Tracks program performance using key metrics and proactively identifies risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
• Supports technical reviews and program milestone reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and objectives.
• Facilitates program planning, technical decision‑making, and change management across engineering teams.
• Manages scope, cost, schedule, and technical performance while balancing competing priorities.
• Coordinates proposal efforts, capture activities, and transitions programs from business development to execution.
• Partners with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Contracts, and Finance to ensure successful program delivery.

Required Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in aerospace engineering or systems engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, and execute projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, scope, and technical risks.
• A current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Preferred Qualifications • Master of Science degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing complex technical programs in the defense, aerospace, or government technology sectors.
