As a Security Guard - Full Time - Morning Shift in Lakewood, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and/or observation of security-related activity in accordance with site policies.
• Support a welcoming environment by providing assistance with directions, answering general questions, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital location.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
