Optician needed for a busy Optometry practice in Henderson, Nevada. We pride ourselves on personal service and quality vision solutions for our patients. We are looking for a reliable, intelligent, and caring individual with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our team.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an optician.

The responsibilities include the following:

Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Writing and oral skills necessary to conduct professional correspondence with patients, staff members, physicians, and insurance companies

Evaluate performance with key metrics (accuracy, timely and efficient)

Knowledge of vision and health insurance coverage and billing.

Excellent computer skills, including experience with electronic claim submission, Excel and Office.

Use of electronic medical software, especially Revolution EHR.

Oversee and perform vision insurance billing. 

Ability to multitask and assist with all operational aspects of running a busy practice

Extensive optical knowledge, including lens coatings and designs and frame adjusting.

Frame purchasing and inventory management.
