Carbon Steel Pipefitter – Full Time Day Shift
Location: Houma, LA
Schedule: Full Time | Day Shift
Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable Carbon Steel Pipefitter with at least 6 months of experience in carbon pipe fitting. This role involves the layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems. Candidates must be able to successfully complete a hands-on pipe fitter test demonstrating pipe beveling, saddling, and silver brazing skills in accordance with ASME requirements.
Must-Have Qualifications- Minimum of 6 months of carbon steel pipe fitting experience
- Ability to pass a hands-on pipe fitter test
- Knowledge of ASME pipe fitting requirements
- Experience using grinders and pipe fitting tools
- Ability to work full-time day shift in Houma, LA
- Industrial or fabrication shop experience
- Experience with silver brazing and socket joint pipe systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- How many months or years of carbon steel pipe fitting experience do you have?
- Are you able to pass a hands-on pipe fitter test involving beveling, pipe saddling, and silver brazing?
- Do you have experience using grinders and sanding discs for pipe preparation?
- Have you performed silver brazing on socket joint pipe in horizontal and vertical positions?
