Step into a vital role supporting students’ communication and academic success in a dynamic K–12 setting near Palo Alto, CA. This contract opportunity seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) ready to make an immediate impact for the upcoming school year. You will provide essential services primarily by covering maternity leaves, ensuring students receive consistent and high-quality care. The assignment is anticipated to last one semester, with strong potential for extension through the rest of the year based on district needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Meets all district hiring and compliance requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver individualized speech and language assessments and interventions for a diverse K–12 caseload (caseload specifics to be determined)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
• Maintain clear, timely, and organized documentation to support student progress and district compliance
• Provide support, resources, and training to staff and caregivers as needed
• Adapt services in response to changing assignments, with a focus on seamless transitions for students during maternity leaves
