This role combines cybersecurity expertise with software engineering to build scalable Python-based tools and modern DevSecOps capabilities.Within the role you will interact with Security Architecture teams, project management and global IT teams to develop, deploy and enhance the overall security program.Like what you see?Apply now!Learn more about ADP at tech.adp.com/careersSkill Requirements8+ years in Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or DevSecOpsAdvanced Python development experienceExperience with APIs, automation, and enterprise applicationsStrong Git and GitOps experienceExperience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelinesKubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologiesAWS, Azure, or GCP experienceStrong Linux/Windows, networking, and application security knowledgeExperience debugging complex applications and infrastructure issuesExcellent communication and leadership skillsRelevant security or cloud certifications preferredInfrastructure as Code using Terraform or AnsibleExperience with observability and monitoring platformsKnowledge of SIEM, SOAR, IAM, EDR, NDR, CSPM and related security technologiesSecure SDLC and code review experienceExperience with AI-assisted development tools is an assetQUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Advanced Python development experience and familiarity with API’s Strong Git and GitOps experience Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies AWS, Azure, or GCP experience Automation experiencing using Ansible Security CertificationsResponsibilities / ExpectationsLead development of Python-based security applications and automationDesign integrations between security tools and enterprise platformsDevelop and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelinesImplement GitOps deployment methodologiesMaintain enterprise security platforms and servicesTroubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issuesCreate technical documentation and operational proceduresEvaluate new technologies and conduct proof-of-conceptsMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadershipSupport incident response and continuous improvement initiativesPerform code reviews and champion secure coding practicesAutomate operational workflows and security processesPartner with architecture, operations, and development teamsLead platform upgrades and lifecycle management activitiesProvide training and knowledge transfer to support teamsParticipate in technical interviews and hiring activitiesTo Succeed in This Role:You'll have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:Have courageous team collaboration.
