Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, polished Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead electronic security integration and detention equipment installation projects from turnover through final closeout. This is a critical leadership role designed for a driven professional who thrives on end-to-end project ownership and excels at delivering complex commercial projects while maintaining an uncompromising standard of quality and safety. You will serve as the primary operational leader across multiple active sites, coordinating field teams, managing client relations, and keeping builds strictly on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution & Planning: Manage multiple commercial construction projects from initial turnover through final closeout, developing execution plans, schedules, and recovery strategies as needed.
• Financial & Budgetary Management: Take full ownership of project costs, profitability, labor, revenue forecasting, billing, and financial reporting to ensure strict adherence to project margins.
• Field Coordination & Oversight: Lead kickoff meetings, oversee field operations alongside Superintendents and Foremen, conduct quality inspections, and coordinate procurement of long-lead materials.
• Contract & Risk Administration: Review contracts, engineering drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders while maintaining accurate project documentation and managing closeout activities.
• Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build strong, long-term relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, vendors, and internal teams to represent the firm with executive presence.

Education and Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business preferred (equivalent industry experience considered), paired with 3–5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Multi-Project Capacity: Proven track record of successfully planning, scheduling, and managing multiple high-value commercial construction projects simultaneously.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial construction practices, contract administration, budget development, and cost control.
• Software & Technology: Familiarity with industry-standard construction software, including Procore, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, and MS Office.
• Specialized Expertise (Preferred): Prior experience in electronic security integration, video surveillance systems, government builds, or correctional/detention facility construction.
• Professional Requirements: Valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, physical capacity to navigate active job sites, and willingness to travel regularly throughout Tennessee and surrounding regional areas.
