Account Manager, AWM (West Region) - Future Opportunities

As an Account Manager within our Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team, you will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by partnering with healthcare providers to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of wound care solutions. This includes advanced wound dressings, biologics, and other technologies designed to support healing across a variety of care settings. This is a field-based sales role where you will drive territory growth, support clinical education, and build lasting partnerships with key stakeholders across acute and post-acute environments. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales goals Promote the full Advanced Wound Management portfolio, addressing a wide range of wound care needs across patient populations Educate clinicians and healthcare staff on the clinical and economic value of Smith+Nepphew solutions Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including clinicians, nursing staff, and purchasing stakeholders Identify new business opportunities and drive product adoption within existing and new accounts Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support account growth and customer satisfaction Deliver in-services, product demonstrations, and educational programs to support best practices in wound care Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Proven success in sales, preferably within medical device, healthcare, or a related field Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate clinical and economic value Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence customer decision-making Experience managing a territory, pipeline, and sales planning process High level of accountability, organization, and resilience Why Join Advanced Wound Management The AWM business brings together a broad portfolio of solutions used across hospitals, wound care centers, and post-acute settings, supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality care across the continuum. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge skills experience, geographical location and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith+Nepphew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets.
