Traveling Dental Hygienist

We are hiring for a Traveling Dental Hygienist in the Chicagoland suburbs! Flexible schedule, benefits, daily bonuses, and mileage reimbursement!

As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

You'll have the ability to build your schedule a month or more in advance, choose from a variety of shifts, and even work half days when preferred -- giving you greater control over your work-life balance.

Schedule

• Monday 7:30am-5:00pm (Briarwood Park Dental Care)
• Tuesday - travel team (your choice on location/hours)
• Wednesday 7:30am-6:00pm (Briarwood Park Dental Care)
• Thursday - travel team (your choice on location/hours)
• Friday - OFF (unless you choose to pick up a shift)

Patient Schedule

• Single column schedule, averaging 7 patients/day
• 60-minute prophys and recare appointments
• 60-90 minute SRP appointments
• 90-minute New Patient appointments

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience:

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
