Operating under general supervision, this position utilizes a company-provided, specially equipped vehicle to conduct on-site sales visits with designated customers. The candidate manages parts inquiries from these clients, assists with their inventory needs to promote purchasing from Carolina Thomas, and collaborates with Sales, Service, and Body Shop departments to enhance parts sales through internal projects and foster strong client loyalty. Additionally, this role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within their area of responsibility, accurately sourcing parts information utilizing internal systems and correct OEM data, and facilitating effective communication between customers and inside sales representatives to ensure order accuracy and timely resolution of part-related issues. Accuracy in data entry and validation of orders prior to shipment is essential. A professional demeanor, appearance, and conduct are required at all times. The individual in this role will also seek opportunities to increase sales through new product introductions and manage delivery logistics when direct shipping is unavailable. Responsibility for handling all returned parts and cores is included. The primary objective is to maximize parts sales and strengthen the presence of the Carolina Thomas brand.

Requirements:

• Must reside in the Eastern Region.
• Demonstrated success selling automotive parts directly to end users.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive engagement, fostering long-term customer loyalty to Carolina Thomas.
• Strong ability to represent and promote both the company and its brand professionally.
• Skilled in planning and managing sales routes to maximize customer service and operational efficiency.
• Proficient in the use of computers and business software applications.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record required.
• Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Abilities Required:

Must demonstrate the capability to effectively interact with customers and technicians during the sale and delivery of parts. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential prerequisites. Physical requirements include the ability to locate, identify, mark, lift, move, push, and pull vehicle parts safely for delivery, shipping, and processing.

Position Type:

Compensation includes base salary plus commission based on gross profit generated from parts sales within the Area of Responsibility (AOR). Comprehensive benefits package includes health, life, dental, 401(k), and paid vacation.
