Job Description Summary With a $15,000 Sign on Bonus! Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on the entire patient population (pre‑teen through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary. 2nd shift weekdays and on‑call rotation among staff. Responsibilities Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on the entire patient population (pre‑teen through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary. Perform clinical MRI and MR Angiography testing, including general studies, breast studies, and the computer interactions related to these studies. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology. One year of radiologic experience (0–2 years modality‑specific experience required). Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. (Infrequent) Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force. (Frequent) Examples: To transfer a 100 lb. patient that cannot assist in the transfer requires 50 lbs. of force. For every 100 additional pounds, assistance will be required from another healthcare worker. 20 lbs. of force is needed to push a 400 lb. patient in a wheelchair on carpet. 25 lbs. of force is required to push a stretcher with a patient with one hand. Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
